Auto-Renewal Disclosure

Read this before you check the box and pay. This is a separate, prominent disclosure required by the laws of California, New York, Illinois, Oregon, Vermont, and other U.S. states for subscription services that automatically renew. You will see the same key information again in your post-purchase email and at any time in your dashboard.

1. What you are agreeing to

You are subscribing to Galactiv EOOD's website-and-hosting Service. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period, and your payment method will be charged the price then in effect, without further action from you, until you cancel.

2. The price and billing cycle

We may change renewal prices for future periods. If we do, we will give you at least 30 days' email notice before the new price takes effect, so you can cancel before the next renewal if you prefer.

3. The length of the term and the date of the next charge

The exact date of your next charge is shown:

4. The minimum purchase commitment is one term

You commit to pay for one (1) term when you subscribe. After that, your subscription continues from term to term automatically, but you may cancel at any time to stop the next renewal — see Section 6.

5. The cancellation policy in plain language

6. How to cancel

Any one of the following ends your subscription. You do not have to do all three.

Method Where Speed
Dashboard calivina.com/dashboard/billing → "Cancel Subscription" Immediate
Email cancel@calivina.com from the address on your account Within 1 business day
Mail (CA residents) Galactiv EOOD, Kniaz Boris 1 55, Sofia 1000, Bulgaria, Bulgaria, attn. Billing Within 5 business days

The cancellation flow is exactly as easy as the sign-up flow, in compliance with the FTC's "Click to Cancel" rule (16 C.F.R. Part 425) and the California Auto-Renewal Law.

7. Pre-renewal reminders for annual plans

For the annual plan and where required by law, we send a renewal reminder email between 15 and 45 days before each renewal, restating:

The reminder is sent to the email address on your account. Please keep that address current.

8. How we got your "express affirmative consent"

By:

you give the express affirmative consent required by the FTC's Restore Online Shoppers' Confidence Act (ROSCA, 15 U.S.C. § 8403), the California Auto-Renewal Law (Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code § 17602), and similar state laws.

We retain a record of your consent (timestamp, IP address, the version of these terms you accepted, and the wording shown to you at checkout) for the duration of your account and for at least three (3) years after.

9. Free trials, promo pricing, intro offers

If your subscription begins with a free trial or a promotional / introductory price, the disclosure at checkout will state:

For annual plans of US$200 or more sold to California residents that include a free or promo period, we will also send a separate notice within 1 to 7 days before the free / promo period ends, in compliance with the California Auto-Renewal Law.

(The MVP plans currently do not include free trials. This Section governs if and when we add them.)

10. Material changes — your right to cancel

If we change a material term of the auto-renewal (price, billing cycle, length of the term), we will tell you by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the change applies, and the change will not affect you.

11. Get in touch

A note for our pre-checkout UI designer

This disclosure must appear:

  1. in a boxed, visually distinct panel,
  2. above the payment-method input at checkout,
  3. with the price, billing cycle, and next charge date in bold,
  4. with a single explicit checkbox below it whose label combines all four legal documents, and
  5. without any other content (testimonials, social proof, upsells) interleaved with the disclosure that could make it less conspicuous.

A working HTML implementation is provided at checkout/consent-block.html.
